Sergio is a partner at DNA Capital, based in São Paulo.

Sergio acts as an executive at DASA, where he focuses on the company’s national and international expansion. He is a partner and advisor to Sami Health Data and a member of the board of directors of GSC Integradora de Saúde. He began his career as a pneumologist, developing experience in the fields of Smoking, Bronchiectasis and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. He was coordinator of the São Paulo Commission of on Smoking of the São Paulo Society of Pneumology and Physiology (SPPT) and member of the commission at the Brazilian Society of Pneumology and Physiology (SBPT).

Subsequently, he became a manager in the field of healthcare, occupying several positions in ambulatory and hospital management, and in health care plan operators. Sergio held several management roles at Amil, the largest healthcare plan operator in Brasil, including the CEO role. Previously, he was Technical and Care Director of the Proprietary Network (Hospital and Ambulatory), Executive Director of the Premium Healthcare Plan Operation (One Health), and CGO (Chief Growth Officer) of the company.

Sergio performed graduate (doctoral) coursework in Healthcare Sciences at Unifest, holds and MBA in Healthcare Business from FGV, in addition to having completed the Healthcare Delivery program at Harvard Business School (where he has been a conference speaker and case study collaborator) and the High Performance Leadership program at IMD-Switzerland.
