Adam Alves is a partner at DNA Capital and commercial director at GSC.

Prior to joining DNA Capital, Adam was a founding partner at Principia Capital Partners, a private equity firm and was responsible for R$ 1 billion. He also spent eight years as an investment manager for Victoria Capital Partners, a Latin-American private equity firm and was responsible for more than R$ 2 billion.

During his experience in private equity, Adam participated or led acquisition transactions, IPO and/or divestment of companies such as BTS, Technos SA, Ideal Invest, Damásio Educacional, Oncoclínicas, FLC Lâmpadas. Alves was a member of the tax and audit committees and held interim positions on the boards of some investments.

Adam holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA). He is also a member of the leaders community of Fundação Estudar, a non-profit foundation that has impacted more than 15 million students across Brazil.
